Impulse Shopping

Macy's has totallllly redeemed itself for me, thanks to the new Impulse Department which features 250 awesome contemporary labels! With labels like Free People, BCBG, Splendid, and 7 for All Mankind (just to name a few...there are many,many, mannnny more), you can't deny that Macy's has seriously upped its game! And they just so happen to carry one of my favorite designer's lines: Rachel Rachel Roy!

Ever since I discovered Rachel Roy I have been obsesssssed with her. Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, but her clothing designs are just beyond words! When I was given the opportunity to meet her in person, I nearly DIED. I attended her event, which took place in the Impulse department at the Macy's in Herald Square, where she introduced her Spring 2010 Collection as well as her new, and limited time only, line of accessories which she created alongside the singer Estelle. Not only was I treated to a three song performance by Estelle, but I was also able to snag some personal time with Ms. Rachel Roy herself! She looked amaaaaazing decked out from head to toe in pieces from her Rachel Rachel Roy line. Plus she was soo, sooo sweet, and completely empowering. Love, love, love her. Love, love, loveeee her collections.
