Plein Sud Jeanius

Plein Sud Fall/Winter Look Book Photos Courtesy of my PR friend Faith! Thanks Faith!

Plein Sud Jeanius is one of the first, and considered one of the original, diffusion lines! Everyone and their mom seems to have a diffusion line these days, but Plein Sud has set the bar wayyyyyy above any of the ones I've seen lately. I have always been a fan of Plein Sud so when I received an invite to check out their Fall/Winter 2010 Jeanius collection, I was on the phone making an appointment within minutes (seriously...ask my sister). Their jeans are THE BEST. Major, major stretch and an amazingggg cut (cut lower in the front, higher in the back--super flattering!) So comfortable and they look hot. Plein Sud is also known for their "second-skin" jersey tops which are absolute perfection, as well as their shearlings. Honestly, it was definitely their outerwear that completely blew me away. Every jacket was legitimately gorgeous (and check out the matching fingerless gloves below! Plus those arm warmers--seen both above and below. Perfect additions to any winter wardrobe!) Overall the line featured geometric shapes paired with a lot of draping to bring us a chic and edgy look that has total sex appeal. Pure genius.

Haute Bag Lady Bag of the Week

Big Buddha's Hibiscus Tote and hobo are GORGEOUS!!!! I saw a Dillard's ad in the March Glamour and the model was holding the tote bag. It was love at first sight, so off to the internet I went for some more information.

Both bag scream spring/summer to me and the hibiscus give them a very unique look.

Big Buddha is a seven year old vegan handbag line that has been featured in O, Lucky, and People Style Watch. The bags are designed by 25 year old Jeremy Bassan. He handles design and production.

Which do you prefer the tote or the hobo?

Have you ever carried a vegan bag?

AL&ALICIA

Quality, comfort, and exclusivity. Three things we should alllllwayyyyys look for when choosing clothing. AL&ALICIA is all three and MORE! From Singapore, I fell in looooove with this new label that can be best described as high-end street wear (HELLLLOOOOOOO, if you know me this is the only type of clothing that I actually wear!!!) Not to mention that the designers pulled their inspirations from the edgy streets of NYC and converted men's styles into women's wear (think: boyish, oversized tees blended with classic silhouettes). How...ME!? When WASN'T the last time you saw me in girly leggings paired with one of my boyfriend's XL tee shirts and/or sweatshirts? Hence, my immediate obsession with this line! The collection, which is the label's first and is perfectly entitled 'Street (n), path upon which travel occurs,' is only offered and can only be obtained through exhibitions, private viewings at the design studio (most likely not happening for you as they're in Singapore!), and via AL&ALICIA's online retail store (Hey, I told you this was an exclusive line!). Each product is produced in very limited quantities, so act now if you want to be one of the first (and one of the only) to be wearing AL&ALICIA in the United States!!

Also, my obsession with AL&ALICIA was more than confirmed when they sent me some of the most comfortable clothing I have ever put on my body. It truly is a ready-to-wear line with amazing tailoring, high quality fabrications, and unique detailing! LOVE. LOVE. LOVE IT. MUST. GET. MORE. Check out how we styled their clothing in the photo shoot below!

What I wore: Top by AL&ALICIA, Tights by Unknown (Purchased at Essentials), Boots by Jeffrey Campbell, Headphones by Sony, Biker Gloves by Carolina Amato, Rings by (Left to Right) David Yurman, YSL, Unknown & Unknown (Both purchased at LF Store)
What I wore: Romper by AL&ALICIA, Top by AL&ALICIA, Faux Fur Vest by Luma, Tights by Charsons (Purchased at TightsPlease), Belt by Streets Ahead, Glasses by Unknown (Purchased in a Vintage Shop), Ring by Sarah Davida, Bracelet by Noir, Boots by See by Chloe
